Learnsoft's iKnowledgeShare
Vision
iKnowledgeShare has a vision to improve the healthcare industry through radical cooperation and mass sharing of learning for the mutual benefit of physicians, clinicians and patients.
This vision is expressed through a not-for-profit, shared repository to be established for users of the system called iKnowledgeShare, whereby each healthcare organization has the option to contribute its own developed content to the ‘pool’.
Members have access to content provided by other healthcare organizations from this pool. Premium content may be sold or purchased through the repository allowing contributors to ‘earn back’ development dollars. The prices charged for this content are minimal, and far less costly than what is currently available in the marketplace for healthcare related e-content courses. This allows small healthcare organizations to band together with larger organizations to share learning materials and improve the state of healthcare on a national basis. The result fosters collaboration and innovation in the healthcare industry.
Prinicpals
- Credibility The iKnowledgeShare content contributors
are approved by a respected oversight group which judges the quality and accuracy
of contributors. Members
also have the ability to rate content resulting in lower quality
content being removed from the Repository.
- Mutual Benefit The ability to share costs or acquire
free content is just the beginning. The real value of the Repository is the ability
to share quickly and seamlessly from one provider to another.
- Innovation The foremost goal of iKnowledgeShare is
to promote innovation in healthcare through radical sharing and unprecedented cooperation.
