Overview

As healthcare organizations across the nation admit more patients, face nursing shortages and
increase demands on physicians, they cannot afford to have their employees spend any more time taking federally mandated training than is necessary. They need to save both time and money while ensuring that their staff has obtained the required certifications.

As a federally regulated healthcare provider, a hospital must ensure that each of its employees - whether a nurse, neurosurgeon or clinician - takes at least five of fourteen courses mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) annually. The topics for these courses range from fire safety to bloodborne pathogens. In addition, there are also HIPAA and JCAHO compliance regulations that healthcare organizations need to adhere to. No less important to the healthcare network is its desire to tailor training to fit doctors' and nurses' hectic schedules.

Vision

MeduRx has a vision to improve the healthcare industry through radical cooperation and mass sharing of learning for the mutual benefit of physicians, clinicians and patients. Our core business is building communities for the sharing of knowledge. To this end, we have developed a fully functional learning management system that comprises eighteen (18) modules and ranges in functionality from a classroom registration system to a comprehensive talent management suite of programs supporting 360 degree evaluations and succession planning. Most importantly, we are building a community repository allowing members to share, trade, purchase and collaborate.
